Doug Smithson has always held a passion for aviation. In 1998, this led him to realize the local airport’s need for a reliable fixed-base operator, and he founded Big Sky Aviation with his wife, Beth. Today the business serves general aviation customers from a state-of-the-art corporate facility at Millville Executive Airport (KMIV) in southern New Jersey, approximately a forty-five minute to drive from Atlantic City, Cape May and Philadelphia.

With more than 20 years in business, Big Sky Aviation continues to grow and contribute to the future of Millville Executive Airport. This longevity is attributed to the loyalty shown by its patrons, who continue to come back for the friendly and reliable service, in addition to the benefits provided by well-maintained equipment and facilities.
